Blindfolded Drawings
When i first heard the directions for these drawings I thought of all the places in my memory that I could include in the drawing. The one place that i knew i had to draw about is my grandparents beach house in Belfair, WA. I knew that including all of the details of this place would not be possible because there are so many different shapes lines and small details that need to be included. I think that the blindfold made it harder to picture the beach house because through the parts that I had already drawn I would have a better idea of the things that needed to be included. The way i went about drawing with the blindfold was much different than how i normally draw. with the blindfold on it was hard to get detail and the many small objects that would normally be included. Instead of small designs and detail, I drew basic shapes and lines to try to get the bare bones of the beach house. My drawing that I did with a blindfold was different from how i normally would do it, but it was not definetly a bad thing.
